Anybody knows how to solve the problem with NIS 07 and ActiveSync 4.2. In order to sync I have to turn off the firewall, the same thing happens with AS 4.5.
I went to the settings of personal firewall of NIS 07 and in the program control I allow the access of WCESMgr.exe and rapimgr.exe to AS 4.2 and still there are not sync.
Help please

While this is more for Norton Personal Firewall, I had to do this for my NIS 2005, but it works now.

The layout of NIS 2007 is a little different, and I tried the steps that you posted. Didn't work.
I 'll try it again this weekend after I erase the AS from NIS, so that I will be like a new program for NIS
Thanks

Works fine for me. Allow WCESMgr.exe, Wcescomm.exe, and Rapimgr.exe to communicate and everything is fine. They all list themselves as Activsync. If you have problems, remove all Activesync entries and when you try to sync, allow all 3.
Thanks a lot guys. it is working now. I did not realize that my wireless conection was restricted, so i remove the restriction and know is working fine
