Axim 51v: battery limit and WiFi, + CPU speeds

I've asked that question since August of last year and been searching ever since. I guess it's safe to assume that as of this moment, nobody knows.

That would be a registry tweak question, the combination of powersaving, CPU speed settings, with minimal use not on ac, and utilising full power off from third party app[batt pack pro] allows me more than 78 hours, but I don't see any reason to not run on AC, if you don;t need to be mobile.

When you say full power off with BPP what are you talking about? I've used the program and wasn't aware of it but I'm probably just dense. The only way I've ever found to "full power off" is to set the main power button hold for the full power off.

I have run my Axim x51v with a 2200 mah battery, wireless on constantly in power-save mode, brightness on the 1st 'tick', auto-dim after 3 minutes, and used exactly 50% battery in just a bit over 8 hours, if that gives you an idea.

And as fas as the argument over using the Axim as a remote and not keeping it on AC power... Tethering yourself to a cable of any sort absolutely defeats the purpose of having a PDA, does it not?
