There are many good screen protectors on the market that can be reapplied.

I am using a Martin Fields Overlay Plus on a few devices and it is very good. Recently I took the protector from my Axim off, washed it and reapplied without any problems.

You just need to be very careful and precise.

Most of them can be re applied but they never really are the same when re applied, so it's not worth the hassle when they don't cost much either.

Want to know a secret?

I have been using Axims for three of four years now and I have never applied a screen protector to either of my devices. Maybe I am just careful, perhaps it's just luck, but neither has suffered any real damage (beyond MrK's skitches).

A screenprotector is so much cheaper than a new screen :)
I also keep the axim in my pocket at times with no protective case.

Ah, ok: mine is either in its PF or in the cradle (car or desktop)

Hmm, I have been using mobiles for a few years now, and for about two always with a GOOD screen prostector. I am very careful, but without a screen protector it is inevitable to get some scratches.

I would never use my beautiful Axim screen without a protector.

LOL, Mrs Jogga reminds me of that every day

Insofar as screen protection, each to his/her own. As I say, I have never used one and have been fortunate enough to avoid damage on either of my devices. However, I don't work in an hostile environment and nobody else has access to my Axim so I guess it's good fortune and smart choices.

Right now mine is in the aluminum (extended battery) case, in my left front pocket. It's sitting on top of my keys. It's in great shape considering everything.
