Can I ActiveSync with IR beam?
I have my ActiveSync 4.2 on my laptop which has an IR port. Can I do an ActiveSync using by Infrared instead of BT?

Yes, open AS on your ax, and select connect via IR, and make sure you have line of sight between the ir ports.

And you should allow IR connection in ActiveSync on your laptop too.
