miniSD card on X51v

Can I use a 1Gb miniSD card on a X51v? (with an adapter, of course)

what about a 1GB microSD card?(with an adapter too)

I will receive one this days, I will try and I will post here the results. I do not see why wouldn't work. I does need the same drivers.

Yes, you can! I would recommend going that route in case you should decide to move to a smartphone down the road or a different device. The mini & micro seem to be the trend.

I don't have any figures, but the read/write speed using a card reader seems very slow with mini SD cards compared to a fast SD card. I think I'll stick to SD.

remember that memory always gets cheaper. a year or two from now the prices of 1gb mini/micro might be ridiculously low. and as the other guy said, SD has better write/read speed.

I have the what your asking about already in my X51V (with the adapter of course). Works great with no issues for me.
