Verify in the Axim's Remove Programs that the Microsoft Update for 2007 DST is actually installed.

One of the earlier threads on DST, a cab file made by a forum member for the DST change was posted, and seemed to work for some, where the MS patch did not. Search for it in the forum.

You would need to uninstall the MS patch from the Axim, then apply the new one.

Even on my X5 (WM2003) in Remove Programs it has "Microsoft Corp. Extended DST Upda..." listed, so I would assume that the patch did not install.

Microsoft has a cab file in addition to the "with PC" patch - have you tried that?

Dogfood did the patch. It also worked for me when the official MS patch didn't. The thread is here:

A cab file is a stand-alone installation file. You copy the cab file to your PDA usually into Temp or a personal folder, and then open it.

Above is one cab file, made by an Aximsite member.

Below is the Microsoft cab file link; go to where it says "For Windows Mobile users who do not connect to their PC"

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...g/default.mspx

There was also an Outlook DST tool that I assume you did, if you use Outlook.

well, it seems that my axim "corrected" itself this weekend, due to the "original" DST. With all of problems I was having I had changed the Time Zone to Atlantic to keep time with Outlook calendar. Well, Sunday morning I turn it on and it's changed time zone to Eastern. So, it's fine now, until the next one. but i will bookmark the link you sent...thanks. weird stuff cause my clocks in apartment are SmartSet's, just plug them in and they're done. and of course I had to change them manually last month. Sunday morning they had jumped hour ahead. oh well... HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL!
