Wi-Fi® Companion Software Patch Released!

Anyone have an active link for this patch? Went to the link and it now says:
"This software only supports Socket products, including the SoMo 650 and Go Wi-Fi! WLAN cards. Support for non-Socket products has been discontinued." No link any more to the patch. The file was named WIFI.WM5.ARMV4I.CAB. If anyone has a copy, I would greatly appreciate it.

We need some kind soul out there to post this fix since Socket Communications has abandoned all it's previous users. :realmad:

Is this better than Dell's WLAN Utility? Same thing updated?

Way better than Dell's junk.

It makes it much easier to find and connect to different Wifi connections.

I rely on it when I travel and have to check my email while dashing through airports. Easy to use.

The fix is for a specific problem on strength of signal reporting for the X51v A12 ROM. File name is WIFI.WM5.ARMV4I.CAB posted around 03/14/2007.

Socket no longer has the download on their website.

Hopefully one of our fellow Axim users has a copy and will be so kind as to post it. Mine was lost when I had multiple hard drive failures last month. I need it for the periodic hard reset cleanup routine for my Axim.
