I think Odyssey 4.51 is better... it actually adds functions and helps to connect to newer encryption types such as TKIP2.

This program works through Dell WLAN Utility and so far the only use I found is the ability to see WHY I can't connect (if it happens).

Otherwise I don't really see the usefulness of this.

I downloaded Wifi.wm5.armv41.cab from quickshare but I cant get it installed. I put it in my download files and also in a documents shared folder. I have my axim x51v docked to my laptop then double clicked the setup file but nothing happens. I think that its a vista thing because I am having a hard time understanding Vista. Any ideas ? Thanks

.CAB files are meant to be installed on the Axim itself.
Copy the .CAB file to your Axim and then use the Axim's File Explorer or an eqivalent to find the file and execute it from the Axim itself.

Also note that this is an updated version of licensed software, not freeware.
If you aren't a licensed user you'll be installing a trial version which you'll have no way to register as the software isn't sold any more.

I can't get the cab file update to work. I got a warranty replacement x51v and went from A11 to A12 in the process. So I tried to install the cab file of WiFi Companion's update. It installs and goes starts the program and detects my network, but then it stops and show no connection; when it does that, I can't get it going again. Any ideas?
