I field-tested Wifi last night......

and it worked! I am thrilled, since I have blissfully been using wifi at my home for a while. But last night we went out to dinner at a big hotel and well, I thought to just test out the old wifi while there. I clicked on the wifi and went into settings, there were 3 networks available and all were unsecured so I connected with one and it had a splash screen from the hotel about offering 24hour free internet connection, and I clicked agreed......... and I was connected. Well I just had to check my email and a few sites. How thrilling to me :celebrate

Here in central Florida you are always connected regardless where you go.....many many unprotected sites as well as many free sites such as schools. libraries, Panera Bread etc etc.....it's almost to the point that you can say here that a Blackberry is almost useless. I still see a market and a strong one for a stand alone pocket pc!!!
