With CF there is no real reason why it shouldn't work, it's only SD that is limited to 4GB by hardware (and to 2GB by the SD spec, presumably for safety and to prevent complaints when customers find that 4GB sometimes don't work)...

I would like a 16GB CF, but they're just too expensive.

jus imagine the amount of music i can fit on that thing, with that plus a 4GB SD card, we can have jus enough space as the entry level iPod(non-nano/shuffle)
