but i cant get this version and i dont know to install it. Can Anybody help ?
Thanx
Hi frederick4711, welcome to Aximsite! Are you referring to the Widcomm BT stack? A fairly detailed thread and links can be found here. I'm not sure if these versions are language-specific, however.
I kept having problems connecting to my Dell GPS unit with the default BT stack, and once I upgraded it has been working virtually flawlessly.

But if the problem was solved following a hard reset, then that must mean the BT stack is fine for GPS and that there must be some other cause of the problem (e.g., software conflicts, etc.).
@breley
what is the diffrence between wildcomm bluetooth and normal bluetooth ?
i will try to update the bluetooth stack ... if i found the correct software
The Widcomm BT stack is a replacement for the Microsoft BT stack that shipped with Dell Axims. It offers more functionality, and many people's experience is that it has been more reliable as well. This has been my experience on my X51v, but others may have had different results.
I will say it's probably not for novices, but was not particularly difficult to install. Note that a hard reset will I believe set the system back to using the default BT stack.

Yes, Box's link is the same thread I pointed to in my original posting.
Box, how many avatars do you boast?

if i installed the file called BroadcomBluetoothStackX51V05.zip and reset the pda, i get the Message that bttray isnt a correct windows Application ...
I have a WM2003 on my axim x50v
Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread before posting the link.
I don't think you need the Widcomm stack, I don't think it was designed for wm2003.
Your native BT should be ok.
As Gigi mentioned in her post, you probably have some other problem. A program you have installed since you hard reset may be interfering with your gps.
