USB to PC pannel glitch

I noticed that for some reason the USB to PC pannel would not fully load. I was having some USB issues and I wanted to check this. Nothing I did would allow it to load up. I thought it must be due to a tweak or a accidental deleation. I hard reset my x51V. At first check the pannel loaded. And then I reloaded software. After that, I would see the "USB to PC" start to load and then crash again. I could not get it to stay on. I hard reset again and reloaded software and found that the problem returned. No tweaks have been entered. I could not figure out which program was causing the conflict. I started to delete programs to see if any one was conflicting. Nothing. Then all the sudden it fully loaded. I found that it would only load as long as I kept the "remove programs" pannel in the background. I do not know what the conflict is but if anyone else has found the same problem, a work around for me has been to run the "remove programs" pannel in the background.

I have the same problem, maybe worse. Same symptoms as you describe. After a hard reset, USB to PC opens. Restore the backup of my system and it flashes briefly and closes. The "worse" part is that I haven't been able to sync in the cradle for weeks now. If I hard reset, it syncs fine, USB to PC works fine. But, once I restore my taxing plethora of programs and data, no sync. I've been syncing with my home and work PC via IR until I figure out what to do. Like you, I hope someone have conquered this problem and will post some ideas.

This has also been a problem for me. It will flash like its trying to load and then just crash. Very frustrating. I thought it was some tweak i had though. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Opening the remove programs dialog and then trying to load USB to PC worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing this discovery.
