Basic Help with Power Off Question

Novice Question: When I power off my X50 (and lock the power switch) I still get calendar update notices (beeps) coming through. Does the X50 stay running and use battery even when powered off and the switch locked? If so, is there any way around this?

The x50v is always powered via the backup battery, to prevent data loss.
You might want to try to change the amount of frequency the announcement come up located in the calenda options.
