its pointless arguing over whether its legal or not when its so obviously illegal as WM6 is not open source and has not been made available to the Axim and no one has purchased it because they can`t!

NC, I think this thread started off topic. Frankly, I think this whole thread is an insult to the hard work the mods do around here. If I was a mod, I probably would have shut it down long ago. :)

It's always a balancing act. One of the keys to Aximsite's success is that it is a community, not just a list of FAQs and links. As such, I am reluctant to kill a thread just because there is disagreement such as the one at hand. As long as there are no personal attacks or other offensive behaviour, my preference is let the thread run for a while.
In this particular case, the value in the discussion has been to add some clarity to what is and what is not allowable - and why. I should note that I have gotten some PMs on this... and for the most part even the people who don't like the rules understand why they are there.
I hope these crab mentality guys doesn't multiply when exposed to water. It's sad enough that WM6 is not allowed here, but leave Widcomm alone. To those who want to "play" mod MYOB.
Just in case you are wondering. That post was never intended towards a mod. The crab mentality I was referring to is the way some people try to rationalize that Widcomm and illegal ROMs are the same thing. Crab mentality because they're trying to pull widcomm down to the level of the illegal ROM. These are the same guys I was referring to playing mod by questioning the mods' decision to keep the widcomm project and trash the illegal ROM.
That was taken out of context probably because someone assumed that it was directed towards a MOD.
I am just wondering, are we going to close this thread or are we going to leave it open? Honestly, I think it should be closed. The question has been answered.

Mod names are actually in BLUE. Green names signify a contributor, a bold black name signifies a News Editor, and Blue names are either reviewer, administrator, or moderator.
You can always look at the tags, for example, it would say AximSite Moderator below the name ;-)
Oh, and there are some exceptions (I'm not blue )
