FYI, If you like this feature of having BT auto-on while launching some specific apps, maybe you should have a look at ozBT. I have never used it because I don't use BT that often, and I like the script to free some memory prior launching iGO.

Have tried this program, although its pretty good, I like the way your Mortscripts, start up BT, freeup ram, open the program then close BT after use...

RunGPS, Igo all use a hell of a lot of ram, were as Memory map doesn't its still handy to just hit one icon to do it all, without having to also have another program running in start Up like ozBT...

I like sripts also they are very powerfull, so I have a new trick for you. I use it to customized the icons of the scripts link to avoid to always have the "ugly" mortscript icon.

I have built this CustomLinkIcons.dll,

(if requested for download use host/host for user/password)

You put it under \Windows.

And here is the map code for all the icons embedded within this dll:

So let's say that you want to change the icon of the Opera_Ramdis.lnk:

Using Resco Explorer, you go to the properties of the link:

You add ?CustomLinkIcons.dll,-51 (51 is the code for the icon see the previous chart) at the end of the path of the link:

And here you go:

Much Better isn't it. ;)

You can do the same for other scripts, you can just check the chart for all icons available in the dll. :)

Just Editing the post to give credits to the icons creator :

Yes very cool, just the dll file size is kinda large, shame there is not a smaller version with a few icons in...

makes the mortscripts look proper now though...brilliant

I know it's big but it has a lot of choice, and the icons are HiDpi. If you want you can make it smaller, I used gconvert to build it.

Makuu, once again you are the man! Very nice icons, I had been wondering if/how you could assign icons to shortcuts and the like...

I mentioned it on the post, just fill the user box with value host and the password box with the same host value.

Looking for a "new" bit of juice for my x50v... I think I'll upgrade soon as well for the heck of it!

Great thread! Found my way here because my Axim X50v has been very laggy on WM5 now I know why!

Time to hard reset and set it up with tweaks/scripts etc.

Thanks for the info!!!
