Copying SD cards

I have a 1G SD card in my 50v containing programs and data. I want to transfer all of this to a new 2G card. I know I can copy it all to my desktop and copy it back to the new SD card, but I'm afraid I will miss some hidden files. Is there some way I can insure that I have indeed copied everything from the old SD. Any help greatly appreciated.

If you are copying to a PC with a card reader, set you window to display all files (in Windows Explorer Tools->Folder Options (or maybe just options), on the View tab select Show hidden files and folders) .

Hi RWiley

Download a copy of Ice Mirror (freeware from Ice Graphics) - I have done what you want to do and used this and it was successful - you can either load up 2 card readers and mirror one to the other or with one card reader to and from a desktop folder. Just be certain you set your master and mirror the right way round as once you hit go there is no confirmation message and no going back.
