Problem with processor speed

Hi,
i'm new in this forum..
I have a problem when I restart my axim..The CPU's scheme velocity go to Automatic, and it doesn't stay in max speed..
I use PHM, and when I restart my ppc, it blocks because they go in conflict..

Thanks..

let me guess you have x51v.

I don't know if there's any way to change that.
Some people were looking for a reg setting change... but can't find it.

Is this a major problem for you?

The automatic processor setting clocks your CPU automatically, so if you try and use a lot of processor, the speed increases automatically. Once you stop using the CPU power, it decreases the speed again.

Keeping your Axim in full CPU speed all the time might make it feel a bit snappier, but it is a horrible drain on the battery in comparison to automatic mode.

When you say restart do you mean soft reset?, if you have ax set to max processor speed it should stay there. Often using today screen plugins can cause hang at start up depending what else is in startup folder, maybe you could try to disable some of the apps you have in startup folder and restart them manually, after start
