How disable buttons on left side?

Other than the top left slider switch which locks everything,

Is there a way to disable the 2 buttons on the left side.
I'm constantantly hitting these when I take my Axim out of my car holder.
They put those buttons in a lousy spot!

Off the top of my head start/settings/buttons select the button you want to disable [the buttons on the side are default 5 and 6] then scroll through the list and select none. HTH
