Dell stopped providing extended warranty for X51v?

i just called dell plan to extend my current warranty, but the rep. said dell do not provide warranty extend for pdas, is it true, since i know people is able to do it previously..Is anyone be able to renew it recently?

Not surprising, if dell has ceased selling new pdas, there is no point allowing new extension of warranty supports for the existing one.

I'm sure I saw a thread about warranty extension yesterday, and the cost being exorbitant if you go for more than one year.

just got a quote from email, and the price is $105 for one year, this is for dell canada

Yea never take the word of a CS rep. The rep prolly was missing the warranty script.

When I heard that Dell finally stoped selling the axim, I called and extended my warranty right away out of fear that they wouldn't allow extensions once the product was off the market. That was April 4th with Dell USA. I was still within warranty. My original 2 year warranty was to expire in July and I bought an extra year (the max allowed) for $64.20.
