Need help with BT internet connection sharing (smartphone WM5 AKU3)

I have been able to pair my device and get the ICS connected (Cingular 3125 WM5 AKU3) using Widcomm BT.

The problem is when I go to use PIE it still tries to dial. I have removed all the old DUN setting but it does not help.

I called HTC and they say there is no downgrade path back to pre-AKU3. I had pre-AKU3 but upgraded so that I could use a BT Keyboard, now I wish I had'nt done that. At least DUN worked.

Not having much luck searching as most of what I need to search for is three letter words and apparently you need at least four for the search engine to work. I can think of a few four letter words I could use, but I doubt they'd get me anywhere .

OK, for now I have everything working again. I did a Hard reset and restored a backup I made prior to installing the Widcomm stack. (I highly recommend you do a backup before installing the Widcomm just in case, it saved my butt)

Im also rolled back my Cingular 3125 to its pre AKU3 version, all is working again.

The only reason y phone even was upgraded to AKU3 was to get the BT keyboard to work with it. I have since decided just to use the BT KB with the Axim only and that has fixed my issues.

So much for technology marching "FORWARD".
