Activesync after laptop crash.

I need a little guidance here. My loptop died and had to be re-imaged. I was doing backups so I have the files from my previous associations with my X50v. I have installed active sync 4.5 and will back up the AXIM later. My big concern is do a start a new association, or can the old one still be used? Outlook on my laptop has the Contacts OK, but no calendar. The calendar is correct on the AXIM so I need to move that back to the laptop. I also imagine any apps on the AXIM that had a sister app on the laptop will need to be reinstalled on the laptop.

I may sound a little confusing, but am just looking for any advice on getting the device synced to my laptop.

Thanks

It'll usually just ask if you want to establish a new partnership. If you do it'll ask if you want to sync the files on your laptop with your axim. If your using your old partnership the files would just sync.

Am I making any sense. I don't know. Ya probably, Hope so.

You know, that makes perfect sense. In fact, that is exactly what I did after writing this. Looks like everything is saved in the new partnership that was on the AXIM.

Thanks
