Apps to improve USABILITY while using an IR keyboard!!!

Hi!

I got my Universal Wireless Keyboard from my old LifeDrive (Palm). Now Ive tried it on the x51v and it works, but there are a couple of things I'd love to do that I can't:

- Switch apps (like windows ALT+TAB)
- Click the left and right softbuttons

That's about it!

Now... since finding a 'helper' for a Keyboard would be quite difficult, I think that an app that would click the right/left softbutton and an app that would switch apps would be OK: I'd then call them using key shortcuts to 'simulate' the action.

In any case, some help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

On my keyboard, I'm pretty sure I can activate softkeys just by pressing ALT + *first letter of softkey* I don't have my keyboard within easy reach, so I can't verify that. Also, pardon me for asking, but have you tried just hitting "Alt-Tab"? I think that will switch apps on my keyboard, but again, I can't verify that at this moment.

Ehmm... the most important thing: it doesn't have an ALT key!

Here is a pic: http://www.pdastreet.com/images/articles/Palm6.jpg

I think that's why I need some apps to do the task, and I then just call them as shortcuts...

Please help! Thanks

Does it have a win key? If so you can launch macros with a win+key combination with a registry hack.

Yep... it has the Win Key.

How can I trigger macros? Do I need to install a Macro Manager? Will it click the softbuttons and switch applications?

And most importantly... what's it's name!

Thanks!

Macro programs: Mort Script (free), Pen Commander (Cones with Calligrapher), SKSchema scripts

I use then all for different things
