x51v storage space question

I have 17% storage space available after loading all my programs on it. Will this cause the pocket pc to go very slow? OR will it not matter really? Should I just uninstall everything and reinstall it to my 1gb cf card?

Do a hard reset would be faster. Then load your applications one at a time checking the storage space that is available. When you have reached the limit you want to have left on your unit start putting the applications on your CF card. Another way is to make sure each and every application is necessary. Some of your applications may be able to be used as a duel application.

I install everything to CF card unless app reccommends that I don't, or doesn't offer me the option, some apps warn you that they may not work properly if they are not installed to main memory[spb pocketplus] for example but it works fine installed to CF for me. I always try to keep main mem as empty as possible works for me

Won't some stuff work slower off of the CF card? What is faster, CF or SD cause i have both. I have the SPB software suite (almost all the progs) a couple games and worldmate pro 2006 loaded mainly. I can't think of anything else. Oh, and netfront.

The speed limitations are dictated by the max read speed of the axim not the cards. the axim has a set read/write speed that remains constant. Your cards may be faster but the axim is limited to it's own speed
