Jeeeez....people were fairly nice enough about this, and now YOU choose to throw the first flame? GET THIS, hoser....you are NOT "entitled" to an upgrade to WM6. None was ever promised, none was even hinted at. You are doing nothing but wasting your time and ours. Find something meaningful to put your time and efforts into.

Fellow Aximsiters, I am calling on all you for help! I want to start a petition to have dell come out with an upgrade for windows mobile 6 on the dell axim x51(x)!!! It is crucial that we all have an update as we have spent over (at least) $450+ on this device. I believe that it is only fair as paying customers to receive all the benefits, especially for paying that amount of money!!!!! I just got off the phone with a technical support personal stating to me "that there are probably not any plans for an update", with probably that means there is still hope! A chance to bring out (be it how ever likely) an update. This cannot happen without everyones support on aximsite! There are currently 194,257 (8:14 June 7th, 2007) people registered and that is way more than enough in my opinion. I am in a bit of a stumble because I do not know how to set a petition up, but out of 194,257 people I am sure someone does. I know that if everyone worked together on this we could get dell to cave in and give us our update that we deserve as "loyal" paying customers!

Fellow aximsites! i have absuutly NO EXPERINCE what so ever with embedded devices! i do not know how to write/debug/compile code. we paid for out axims! there for they must ALWaYS have the most up-to-date software on them, regardles of the date when dell discontinued them, and the current date! i just recently set up a petition for my Ford model T to get a new hemi V-8 engine because i spend money on the mdoel t, therefor i need ot get ALL the benifits!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111. im sure that it is possible to do ANYTHING on embedded devices, despite that fact that i have no knowage of the innter workings of these devices! please, calling all n00bs! please sign my petition!!!

i can wait until all the moron n00bs come to flame me, even though i have many more years experience in software devel on embedded computers then they do.

please people, dont waist your tiem trying to get dell to release an upgrade. it isnt going to happen.

I see he's able to voice his opinion in so intelligently. I guess he won't be answering my original questions, although all flaming aside, I truly would like to hear why he thinks he deserves this upgrade.
