Question X51v & Bluetooth -- xfer # to cell and dial?

I thought I was able to do this with my old X50v - select a number to dial from my Contacts and have it transfer the number to my cell phone via Bluetooth for dialing.

But I can't see how to do this with my X51v, am I missing something or is this not possible to do?

Thanks,
Ron

X50V cames with Broadcom/Widcomm BT stack witch adds a Dialing utility to PDA Contacts.
X51V cames with Microsoft BT stack witch adds noting.
You can add this utlity: V-Mobile Software - Bluetooth Dialer
But you better can replace Microsoft BT stack by Broadcom one. See Sticky threads.

If you are with Verizon they cripple the bluetooth capabilities of their phones and block this functionality. I spent a day trying to figure this out, before one of their techs told me they blocked this functionality when they prevented sharing of movies or music on the phones

Well, I tried the Widcomm stack and I ended up reverting back to the MS stack, as it was causing problems with my Garmin Mobile 10 GPS.

Report it to Widcomm thread, maybe you get some help about it.
And you still can give a try to BT Dialer for Microsoft BT stack.

Will do - thanks. :)

EDIT: Tried the BT Dialer app with the MS BT stack and I couldn't get it to work with my X51v and Moto Razr V3 phone. I may try out the Widcomm stack again and experiment some more.
