x50 with CF Socket Scanner

Hi,

I am currently using a Compact Flash SocketScan Barcode Scanner with my Axim x50 running WM2003. When I turn the power off on the PDA and then turn it back on, the scanner does not initiate automatically and does not respond. I have to keep the PDA on, and physically remove and re-insert the CF Scanner for it to work again.

I've tried using the same scanner on my x51 and do not experience this problem. The scanner initiates itself automatically when it is turned on.

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
