X51V stolen. Need new pda. Some tips.

Hi all. I owned an X51V for about 13 months which was stolen with an 8GB CF card in it (solid state, not the MicroDrive one). Now I am looking around for a PDA that can atleast accomodate an SD card. The thing is though, I want something a bit smaller the X51V (which was rock solid BTW), I am eyeing some of the Asus MyPal PDA's and the A696 seems tempting but I dont need the GPS, something around 200-300 MHz would be sufficient, can be QVGA. Basically something smaller that lasts a little longer on a standard battery. I hope I can get a little help here since I dont know where I can post this. Thanks. If all else fails Ill just grab another one off eBay.

Oh, it's so bad! I am so sorry for you.
As about another Pocket PC - if not x51v I would go for hp 4150 (or 4350).
The 4150 was my first PPC. I still have it and use it. It is very fast (faster then my x51v) and rock solid. It is very small and slim, has WIFI, BT and SD card slot. The processor is 400 MHZ. I've been using it every day for 3 years and and still going like new. I have some scratches on my screen because I never used screen protector for it and played lots of games. But it is not too bad. I bought extended battery (1800 mah) and case for it. Standard battery is not very good, but reasonable.
I love it so mach, so recently I've got 4350 model as well. I've bought it new (even it was discontinued while ago) from amazon.com. This model is basicaly the same as 4150, but it has buildin keyboard, so it is bigger. But very slim, the same as 4150 model. Also it has very good standard battery, so you don't need to get extended one and can keep your device slim.

I just purchased from ebay aother X51V as a replacement for my existing X51V when it goes bad. At this time I have not found a phone/PDA/PPC device that will give me all that I desire for my useage. For me the X51V is/was the perfect PDA/PPC device. The unit I got from ebay came with A12 ROM, service coverage until 2008, one 1gb SD care, one 2200 battery and two 1100 batteries (all from Dell) all for $225. Using SPB's Backup application it was easy to duplicate my current X51V to the replacement one.

I saw around and the XDA Exec intrigued me, sure its big but its the only PPC Phone with a full keyboard, regular size SD card slot, a VGA screen and a 3.5MM jack which is perfect for my mp3 needs under a $1000. Still looking but most like am getting the Exec to fulfill my phone needs as well, have a spare 4gb laying around here so should be good.
