Worried messaging auto scroll

Hi I have applied this rom and everything is good but i set up my e-mail with it and when i see new messages in the inbox it scrolls to the bottom
and when i open messages it scrolls to the bottom or mid way(same spot every time opening the same message) depending on the length of the e-mail, i have bin searching the registry to see if i can find a fix there but i cant seem to find any keys that this would be connected to.
any help or fix would be appreciated.

update
with how far down it goes is equivalent to pressing the scroll down button 15 times, and its consistent from any e-mail that is long enough, and its quite annoying for short ones so all i see is the bottom and not the message till i scroll up. i have sifted through all the inbox registry keys as well of any with the number 15 and none of them seem to affect this.

Thanks
Kaziya

I just installed M17 and it works fine. However I have a few questions:

- how de I try the trueVGA mode? do I have to use something like ozVGA?
- how do I sync it with Outlook without loosing my already-saved partnership? do I have to create another one?

Thanks

No, I don't plan any update on M17, I don't think it can be legally improved.

I agree, although we could put our efforts into porting the changes to the X50(low), X50(mid), and X51 WM5 roms.

I'm new at this and am curios about m17. Can it work on x50 mid? If so I would be intersted in trying your sdhc support.

No, Makuu's rom will not work on the X50(mid). I am, however, making a WM 5 A03 rom for the X50(mid). I will try to include SDHC support, but I am not sure about it. Pm me if you want in on the beta for the A03 rom.

My Axim is a couple of years old now, and clearly out of warranty. I've been following these new ROM threads for a while now (here and at XDA) and I'm thinking about taking the plunge.
I already have two sets of the original A12 ROM just in case I decide to go back - I have the official Dell A12 (R129272.EXE) for use thru ActiveSync and I also have the SD Card files (DiAd_K_AximX51v_WM5_A12EN.nb0) in case I need to restore that way.
Question is - if I do need or want to re-flash back to A12, will I still need to reinstall all apps afterwards, or will a Sprite restore get me back to where I started prior to experimenting?

If you have done the sprite restore on the unit prior to doing any upgrading the answer is yes. I have done this several times with my X51V and using Spb backup. First do the ROM flash and then do the restore from your backup file on a SD (in my case a SD 4gb card). I have a spare X51V and this is the exact process I use when populating it after a ROM flash. When done I have two identical units.

wow. that almost sounds too easy, not to mention inviting.

I realize I can't mix backups across ROM versions - that would be like making a backup under XP and trying to restore it under Vista - ugh.

this has been the only thing holding me back from experimenting, was wondering if I could at least get -totally- back to where I was if I wanted or needed to.
thanx
