X50V Hard Reset results in "to restore factory settings...." (Screenshot attached!)

(X50V) Can someone PLEASe help me figure this out, I'm losing my mind:

I'm not sure when this began happening, but doing a hard reset (push the power + reset) results in a dialog screen to pop up that I have attached here:

I WAS running WM5 A02

I tried downgrading to 2003SE and then upgrading back to A01, and after it was all done, IT STILL gives me that dialog screen on a hard reset!!!

I also can't load the SBC Boot loader because the second i press the reset button while holding down power+wireless, that dialog appears.

What can I DO??

hi. its just a safety tip just to be sure you really want to hard reset. as for the sd boot loader, it really tricky to do wifi-reset-power t the same time. in my case, it took about ten tries.

So this is normal? You get that screen too? Can you maybe explain at length how to load the SD boot loader.. i press wireless+power and with my pinky i press the reset button.. while still holding down the power+reset.. the second i hit the reset button, that screen above loads up.

It took me about six or seven tries to get the SD loader up instead of the hard reset screen. I think what I had to do was hold down the power and wireless buttons, press reset, let go of reset while still holding the power and wireless buttons for a second.

If you screw up and get the hard reset screen, can you try over again while the hard reset screen is present or do you have to restart the axim and wait for it to load wm5?
