[RESOLVED] Strange issue with wireless (DHCP lease)
Every time I try to connect to my network via wireless at home, I get a message stating: Unable to obtain a server-assigned IP address. Try again later or enter an IP address in Network settings.
Strangly enough, this all started happening today when I was at my friends house and I decided to make a VPN connection so I could grab a few files remotly. During that process, the VPN connected but I couldn't access any files, so I deleted the VPN connection. Now I am at home and I get this message all of the time. I have tried removing the network settings for my routers' wireless and adding it back, but no dice. It tells me to specify an address so I tried that too but still no dice.
Another thing I should point out is that this happened to me once on A06. I am now at A17 and it's happening again but I don't think this is a ROM-specific problem because I was able to connect yesterday no problem. The last time I resolved it, I had to hard-reset, but this time I don't want to do that.
Any ideas or suggestions?
EDIT: After playing with a few settings on my router the other day I remembered today that I was doing that. I messed up a setting involving static dhcp but it's now corrected.
