Help, on vacation and CF stopped working

Hey I'm on the beach in NC and my CF stopped working. I thought it was the card so I got my brother's CF card and my device would freeze up until I soft reset and removed the CF card. I also hard reset my device and the same problem persisted.

Any help would be great! Thanks

I'd love to do that, but I need a tan and it helps to listen to some music :-)

Any help? I'm considering selling this little guy for a smartphone soon.

Already gave that a try as well. I'm guessing that the 64 pins have somehow gotten dirty. Would cleaning the contacts work? And if so what should I use to clean them?

Try a compressed air can. If you can get a hold of a good magnifying glass and look into the slot, you might be able to see if anything is there.
