Doc Files Stall out Axim
I have had this problem for months... whenever I browse a folder with either Resco File Explorer or the built in explorer... my X51v (A12) stalls out (freezes completely) for almost a minute... if the folder contains a Doc file. It's a real pain! Any ideas? Thanks!

They're all MS Word Doc files from various versions... mostly Word 2003.

Have you checked your file conversion settings in active sync,are the files converting properly from .doc to .psw

I do not synch... so most of the files are created on the Axim itself. Only a few from the PC.

I dont know if it's related, but my Axim cant open 99% of DOC files (Word Mobile crashes) though when converted to RTF, they read fine! You might try converting them to another format to see if that solves the problem
