Axim X51V - WMDC 6.1

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this is normal behavior for X51V and WMDC 6.1 (Vista Business)?

WMDC does not automatically open when I cradle my Axim X51V is this normal?

I have to open WMDC manualy to start a sync after my Vista desktop is rebooted
is this normal?

Is it set to startup after reboot? Try putting a WMDC shortcut in the start menu/startup folder.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this however everything is the same except WMDC starts with windows. I still have to manually initiate a sync and WMDC does not open up when the Axim is cradled.

So can anyone confirm that WMDC should pop up on screen and sync automatically like AS did in XP when the device is cradled? I would like to know if this is normal before I unstall WMDC, loose my partnership and start over.

it does for me

It works for me too but it takes a little more time than it did in XP.

Thanks for the response. Just to clairify the Sync works for you of WMDC actually opens up on screen or both?
