Batch scripting utility?

Maybe kind of a weird request, BUT...

I really like using FlexMail2007, however, it tends to use 10MB when it runs. Since there isn't a small applet that WebIS has that could just check my accounts and give me the OPTION of launching FM, I'd like to know if there's a good scripting utility out there that would allow me to

1. Launch FM2007 (mail is then automatically checked) at an interval I specify
2. Wait 60 seconds (to allow mail to download)
3. Close FM2007.

I'd like this since although FM can check automatically, it will close if another application is started if that new app needs the RAM. Then my email doesn't get checked automatically.

Or does someone have a more efficient way of doing this?

Thanks!
Marc

Mortscript is a great scripting program that can do exactly what you want... I use it for all sorts of things, I use it to check if Coreplayer is running and if so just activate the window rather than re-run the program. I've also got a script (courtesy of Makuu) that will create a ramdisk and then change Opera Mobile settings to use that rather than flash memory, then when it exits the ramdisk is destroyed.

I picked up SKScheMa during the last sale, making the third product I have purchased from SKTools. Very powerful. A bit of a learning curve. Sketchy documentation. Good code examples to start from.
