Axim x51v locks up on boot
I installed TomTom 6.75 and after I restarted my Axim locks up before I can do anything at all!
Soft reset doesn't help because it locks up RIGHT when it boots!
Is there a safe-mode booting combination so that startup items don't boot or something?

Don't think there's a safe mode, at least not unless you installed some kind of 3rd-party safe mode tool first.
Does it connect to ActiveSync during/after booting? If so, you could try and browse to the windows folder on your x51v and mess around with the startup items.
The other thing you could try is removing the SD and CF cards and see if it will boot then.

Perhaps, you should think of reverting to Original A12 rom, and see how it's behave. You cannot ask support of your axim if you are using a custom rom.

No, it was the leather case...it pushes too hard on my extended battery (it doesn't support extended battery to begin with, so I jammed it in). As soon as I removed the case, everything started working...

That's good.
By the way, in case you need to in future you should be able to access the windows folder from activesync if you need to as long as you have windows' "view hidden files and folders" turned on :)
