X51V Wifi confusion - cradle vs. WAP

I got a bit o' confusion with my x51v. I can browse fine in the cradle, but if I go wifi to my linksys WAP (set to 192....111) I get a "could not connect to remote server" notice in Opera. I can connect in the cradle, pull it out of the cradle and refresh the same page without a problem. IE doesn't want to work anywhere - I get the Cannot connect with the current connection settings. I'm not sure if IE ever worked since I'va always used an alternate browser. Kaspersky has a proxy server option that is turned off. It also tells me that 192....111 is in the trusted zone.

The PPC will preferntially use pass through when it is connected to the PC via the cradle (also, by default, WiFi is inactive when the device is cradled).

Check the first part of the Troubleshooting section of the WiFi Guide for the most common solutions to WiFi problems.
