SD Card Formatting Question

Hi,
I recently bought a 4gByte SD card to use with my x51V. When it arrived it only showed 1gByte available space. Can this be reformated to the original 4gByte and if so, what program would I use to do this.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Do you have a card reader? You could format it with that.

Did you buy it on ebay? it could be fake.

Thanks for all the help. I did have a card reader and was able to format it to 4 gBytes.

what card reader did you use?
i have SD 4GB that were not readable to my x51v so i removed and install it to my lab top to foramat.... but it was mentioned it can not be formatted????!??!

I don't know who made it but the Model No. is UCR-61. You might find it by Googling the model number.
