x51v noob with questions

Hi everyone,

my mom is selling her x51v so i will be hard resetting the device and putting it on ebay (unless anyone is interested jk). i want to update this thing and put software on it to make it more appealing to potential buyers.

i have an HTC Wizard and HTC Titan so i am familiar with the pocket pc interface, but have a couple x51v noob questions if anyone can me

1. i saw the A06 > A12 update, but how do i update to A06 from A01?
2. can i use software from my phone on the x51v? for example, HTC X button
2a. is software made for ARM compatible with xscale cpus (im assuming thats what the x51v has)
3. what are some of the latest addons/features that users find most useful?
4. any other suggestions that i should do to make this item more appealing?

thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide me :approve:

nothing.. give it a hard reset and sell it clean. Experieced owners would usually hard reset it anyway because they wouldn't know what what kind of crap was put on it. New users will wind up here...

The only thing that would make it better is the original docs and CDs and any accessories that it has like memory cards, cases, whatever.

thanks for the quick reply. i was going to hard reset it and install a couple pieces of software like HTC X button, possibly office 2007 update (if it works), and possibly voice command 1.6

i do have the original box, manuals, rhino skin case, and some memory cards to sweeten the deal too =]

i wish my titan had a cradle. i heard the 6700 came with one =[

some yes, some no... mostly yes.

no = they will usually run but some functionality may not work

The issue is mostly the OS, many apps require WM5, WM6...
