4GB sandisk ultra II doesn't work in x51v

I just bought a new 4gb SD card for my axim, but it doesn't appear to recognize the card at all. It works in other devices, so I know its not the card. Is there a limitation on the amount of SD memory the x51v can use? I've seen people mention using larger cards than this but they were cf cards....

Becareful it's not a SDHC card, Axim can't read the High Capsitiy cards. I have 2 - 4gb SD cards. Works fine, but that I think is the largest for that format.

Yes 4gb sd cards work. I'm not sure about this particular card though. have you tried formatting it?

If this is your card it won't work

SanDisk have their 4G SD cards only in SDHC, while x51v do not support it.

many other vendors provides 4G SD card w/o SDHC, that works on x51v, i'm using an ADATA 150x 4G

or you can try football's unofficial ROM which support SDHC

did u buy ur card from ebay .. guess what there is lot of fake san disk cards are selling online .. alot of them .. people are complaining alot .. just dont buy sd or cf cards online.. unless u are really sure about their rating standards ..

i have OCZ 4 gig sd card.. it works great in my x50 :-) good luck

yep HDSC doesnt work with axim .. u gotta get SD CARD not HDSC

Several WM6 devices will work with SDHC anyways. Just remember the posted rules about WM6 ROMs and this forum.

I have patched the WM5 352 rom to get SDHC support, but I can't test it as I don't have SDHC card. I have asked if somebody wanted to betatest for me but never get any candidates.
