X50V WIFI constant connection drops

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my new trendnet wireless router model TEW-631BRP. For some reason when i connect to it with my X50V, my connections constantly drops every 15 seconds for about 2 seconds before reconnecting with the router. I had a Buffalo wireless router prior to getting the trendnet and had no issues with connection drops. I also have a wireless laptop using 802.11g and it experiences no connection drops with the router.

Can someone please shed some light on this issue? :(

I am running WM5 latest rom build
