Worried Completely Reset an axim x50v

Hi,

After resurrecting my axim for use with my GTD plan, is there any way to completely reset it to 'factory settings'? When I say this I mean things like the BIS being blanked, all of my registry hacks reversed, etc? It's just that my Ax is full of old redundant software and I wanted to start from scratch again, much like doing a reinstall of windows on a PC.

Do a hard reset.
Hold the Power button down while pushing the reset button on the back.

As box says :approve:

you may then have to delete any files you don't want on your BIS or flash cards.

Thanks for your replies. However, I was under the impression that a hard reset wouldn't 'reset' the registry, unless I'm mistaken? Will give it a go anyway.

Icon14 Registry does get cleared

For those who are interested, a hard reset does indeed completely wipe the registry to factory defaults, even if you've made some registry hacks etc. All you would then need to do is simply wipe what's in your BIS and your axim would be as you received it from Dell.
