Welcome to the site!

Yes, the X51 series has been continued, but it is still a top-of-the-line PDA. If you need one with these features, I'd definitely recommend getting it.

Actually, if you can wait a few weeks, get the HP IPaq 210. This is the true successor to the Axim X51v, which is more than 2 years old already. The HP 210 covers all of the features in the X51v (well except for the 3D graphics accelerator), but adds Windows Mobile 6, 128 MB RAM, and slightly larger screen. Check out the thread on mobilitysite.

I agree - hold out just a little longer. It will be worth it to get the HP210.

I totally forgot about this one. Definitely worth considering if it's in your price range. :approve:

Axim has vga out, you can plug it to a beamer with adhoc vga out cable.
I use it for my ppt presentation. I don't think you can do that with the HP.

You can get a X51V for alot less than $380. If you can not find one for around #325 email me and I will tell you where you can get one still under warranty with extra battery.

Word is out a 16 GB SDHC card and higher can now work on the Axim, go over to Axim site Dot com and find why the X51v has all of a sudden become hotter than hot and a must have device.:approve:
