Various problems during booting and while x50v is turned on!
Hi, i write in this forum because i'm coming crazy, only time that i change battery to my axym and then i power on it , on the display appear the message "To restore factory settings press contacts also to continue press mail button"! I press obviusly the mail butoon but after at anytimes my axim is locked while loading the O.S! I've wm 6 rc2, so i've thought that the problem wil solve with wm 5 or wm 03! Nothing to do! I've tried also those operative system but the error even appear.! But if i change the battery whyle my axim is on the dock during loading the battery this error will not appear and it function normally. Please help me, i don't want spend more money to buy another axim thx to evryone

Sounds like a major problem but...

1. The problem is because you are using WM6 on a machine not really meant for it and...

2. Your not going to get any help because talking about illegal ROMS here is not allowed and most likely this thread will be deleted so maybe you should read the forum rules next time?

So what OS are you running now? As was previously stated, the WM6.0 OS you are (or were) running is not legal and not open to discuss on this forum. There is no way to know for sure if the problems you report are because you are running this OS or not.

Did you actually downgrade the OS to WM5.0 and Windows Mobile 2003 and still experience this problem? If I read your thread correctly, it sounds like the pocket pc runs fine while it is in the cradle and connected to AC power with any OS you run. But when you remove it from the cradle and AC power you have this problem? You might need to replace your battery.
