SUPER converter - what settings (bitrate, codec etc) do you use?

Hi all!

I was messing last night with the SUPER converter for maybe 3 hours trying to find the best combination of picture quality, file size and play speed. I was converting a DVD.

H.264 seems to give me the best file size and quality, but unfortunatelly Core Player plays it too slow.

What setting do you guys use?

I have just been using avi (for pocket pc). It has some noticeable quality defects, but its not too bad.
It depends on if u want to sacrifice some file size for lower quality.

.avi is a file type to which SUPER can convert. I use super to do the same conversion and it works great. I am usually only doing this to watch movies on planes or while waiting in transit so the loss in quality is acceptable.

If I remember you then pick the size in pixels to match your screen size, choose the aspect ratio and the bitrate for the audio. I tend to lower the audio bit rate to save on space. TCMP has not had a problem playing the files.
