Is there any way to watch movies on Axin x50?

You would have to rip your own DVDs and store the ripped file on a storage card then use either the Windows Media Player that came with your device to watch a .wmv file or TCPMP, a freeware player that would let you watch .avi, .mpg, .mpeg or Divx files with the appropriate plug-in.

For streaming movies You'll need either a WiFi connection or a bluetooth connection to a fast cellular network. TCPMP works amazinginly well with Google Videos and the .flv plug-in added. Windows Media Player also does streaming.

Some software apps for 30 bucks and watch on axim sd cards. Immediate access from one movie to another. :approve:

I like freeware myself TCPMP is the best video player in that category but I did purchase CorePlayer the commercial version of TCPMP for $24.95USD. DVD ripping can be done with FairUse Wizard for free but I paid 15.26USD for DVD Catalyst.

Where are you getting this $30 for software figure from mostlylisten? You don't need to pay any money to watch movies on a X50 unless you want to or need to buy a storage card.
