The only browser that supports the saving of entire webpages for offline viewing. Is Netfront 3.3 or 3.4 Beta. Neither PIE nor Opera 8.65 support this.

FYI: If you plan on saving a webpage on your computer for later viewing on your Axim make sure you save the webpage using either IE6/7 or Opera both of these browsers have the ability to save Webpages in a single file with the extention .mht. Donot use Firefox; Firefox saves webpages as a html document which is tied to folder containing the images and other web components.

Another freeware way to save webpages from your computer and view them off-line on your Axim is:
SunriseXP (on PC) (Sunrise XP) to save the pages
Vade Mecum (on PPC) Vade-Mecum: a Plucker Viewer for the Pocket PC to view them

Well, I just tried your suggestion using the option to save as .mht and neither PIE nor Opera 8.65 would open it on my x51v. I normally just save as complete web page using IE6 on my pc and then transfer the 2 files (the folder containing images and the .html file) to my x51v. I would like to just have one file to deal with, but this suggestion didn't work for me. Or is this because of the differences between the x50 and x51v?

As Speedy noted, only Netfront supports mht files on a PPC, regardless of where they come from ... desktop or Netfront PPC save.

Yes this correct. Maybe Mobile Firefox will support .mht files when it is released later this year. We can only hope!
