Viewing Youtube videos in Opera

Anyone knows if this is resolved? I'm looking for a way that is just
as simple as on my desktop.

This WM5 thing, along with X51v, just seem quite user-unfriendly.
So many hacks, and tweaks. Before one can really enjoy it, one
needs to spend a lot of time to do quite a few research projects
on it :o

Unfortunately there is no simple way to watch youtube videos on wm5/6.

Actually, I was just using the latest release of Opera mobile, and if you have your mobile device identified as "mobile device" in Opera's configuration settings, you will be brought to a mobile version of the YouTube website, and it is easier to use than attempting to visit the site with your device ID'd as a desktop PC.

Hi Zero,

I believe I already configured my Opera (8.65) to identify my device as
"mobile device". Still, when I click "Watch Video" on youtube, I got this
error:

The address type is unknown or unsupported.
rtsp://rtsp.youtube.com/youtube/videos/spsiTo4BAiY/video.3gp

There was some hack posted on this site before, and I tried installing
TCPMP, but still no luck.

This's just one of a few annoying problems I've been having. Owning
Axim/WM5 is becoming my part-time research project :(

Yeah there is:

Just go to mobytube.net on your axim and download tcpmp and the flv plugin.
Then use the site's built in search to find videos. All youtube, google, etc are on there.

vTap is good too but none of the content is in stereo

I didnt even know there was stereo on youtube. I usually pay less attention to audio quality when there is video.

yea but theres also music videos on vTap and it matters greatly whether its in stereo or not.

If it was a music video then, yea i would definetly want stereo.
