Flashing green power button on an AximX51V

Having read everything here, how do you stop it flashing? I have checked that all Notifications are unticked.

Try a soft reset. That should stop it unless it's amber/green.

I have tried that - about five times! It doesn't cure the problem.

I would open the Tasks and see if there is something past due but not checked off as complete and if it is empty, look through past appointments. You may also want to check these on the PC you are syncing with.

I've only seen amber / green. The unit would only power up w/ A/C adapter, then would die as soon as it was unplugged.

If it only powers up with the ac adaptor. Would this be a battery issue.

Nothing in Tasks, and I won't have access to the PC that I sync with until Sunday.

The battery is a place to start, but I've definitely seen Axim X50(*) units with flashing I/O lights that any battery cannot accomodate.

Dell just replaces them if under warranty when that issue is given.

I've even pulled the backup battery and replaced it from X50's and they still flash.

Sometimes, it must be some kind of 'short' in the circuit.

Bernard.
