Aximsitex50icon SOLUTION AND INSTRUCTIONS for audio and backup battery probs

Hello my friends this is my first post on the site but ive been a watcher for quite some time, and just know if finished something very interesting most people are going to like, this is a solution for 2 big problems, first off the audio jack problem of the X50V and x51v, fixed one of each.

1) Various non intrusive tactics, include:
Using a pin
Using the stylus and shoving it into the audio jack
Using silicon spray on the headset jack
Thumping on the corner of the pda
Droping the Pda hoping it will fix it self
and so on.

2) This is what i did, will see pictures aas we go along(someone teach me how to add the pics please), first off, open the PDA, using Torx #5 Screwdriver, total of 4 screws, and then take out the front and back panel of the pda

Then remove the black structure that holds the screen and the board toguether it has 4 small "cross" screws, after you will have a visible headphone jack.

Locating the problem, the problem is very easy to find. the structure has a contact that is very visible, that contact should separate when the headphone is entered and should unite when there is no headphone inserted in the jack. so simple, apply some presure to the metal contact and voila!, you will have fixed the problem, depending on what happend to your PDA, ex. droped, came bad, spontaneus damage ectc... you will have to modify the technique a bit, i personally used 2 flat scredrivers to modify the contact, then to test it, putt the audio plug in, you will see the contact totally separated, and then take it out, and it should be united again.

And thats the solution no more messing around with other techniques, altough i must admit on one pda i used the pin strategy and it worked so anyhow... there you go

2nd) While you have the pda open, take some alcohol and clean the supercapacitor (backup battery) soak it and then clean it, repeat again, and clean it again, i did it 3 times, then clean it totally and voila, no more loss of time!, enjoy, please someone email me how i can upload the pictures so everyone can see what i did in detail!!!

To everyone whos helped me posting, this is my way of saying thank you:approve:
