Does a standard PDA backup include ROM data?

Dell has just sent me a replacement PDA because my old one was playing up.

The trouble is that I had upgraded the ROM to WM6 A03. To get the same setup on the new PDA, can I just do a backup to SD card, then restore it on the new one?

Or will I have to upgrade the new one to WM6 A03, then do the restore.

Also, how can I roll back the old one to a WM5 build?

thanks.

Better go to xda developers on the web for the answer to questions on WM6 A03 and how to roll back your unit to WM5 IMHO.
